What is the Boiler Upgrade Scheme?+
The BUS is a government grant of up to £7,500 towards the cost of an air source heat pump for eligible UK homes. We handle the application as part of your quote.
Will a heat pump work with my existing radiators?+
Often yes, sometimes with selective radiator upgrades. Our survey calculates whether your existing radiators can deliver comfortable heat at lower flow temperatures.
Do I need battery storage with solar PV?+
Not necessarily, but adding a battery increases the share of your own solar generation you can use in the evening. We size this to your usage during the survey.
How long does an install take?+
Most air source heat pump installs take two to three days; solar PV arrays typically one to two days, or three to four when installed together.
